Hi Guys,

I am fairly new to AIX and want to know how to setup/configure LPAR and HACMP on a P570/aix 5.3.
Anyone has a step by step guide/instructions?
Thanks a bunch.

Hope you don't take this in the wrong way, but it's not that easy, there are so many different ways to set-up hacmp and as many again for lpar.

There is no one answer and we would need a lot more info and time to be able to help. I'd advise training - if your manager expects you to do this without any he's a fool. You could also read the Redbooks but again it will take time / trial and error.

If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask but I and I guess most other people on TT AIX would love to be able to help out but the subject is so indepth we would be here for days.

Thanks for your advice guys and links to redbooks.
Much appreciated.
