LP40 Upgrade procedure??

Has anyone done a s/w upgrade on an LP40, if so do you have a procedure? And once complete, how do you verify that it has been upgraded.

I have an LP40 that I think I have upgraded it using the following steps. Booted the system, accessed the DM and uploaded the file 'SP40V204' to the system. Then I accessed the phone programming and using MMC818 & installed the file under the 'SP4'. I saw the LP40 showing what looked like changes being made via the SIO port, once it completed it said to 'power off and on the system' which I did.

Is this all there is to it?
