Hi,

Anybody know if lp can wait till a print job has actually finished printing (ie the last piece of paper has popped out of the machine), or if there are any options/callbacks which can notify me in any way when such an event happens, or if there are any other tools which can provide this functionality ?

The printer is an HP 8100, and speaks, to my knowledge, IPP and JetDirect. The file format is postscript.
