Lower case for display name on T7316?

The instructions to change the display name on a T7316 only allows uppercase. I know there is software to log into the system which allows display name changes using upper and lower case.

I have an Enterprise Edge 1000 system. I have the Norstor BCM software and Voicemail Manager software. I must need further software because I can't see where I can change display names with this software.

All names on the sets are upper case, I think that you are thinking about names in voicemail, those can be upper or lower case letters.

All I know, if someone from another extension calls, their name is displayed in uppper and lower case. Our contract phone tech used his laptop to login to the system to do this.

If the name is changed using Norstar Remote Utilities, then the name may be in both upper and lower case. I am not aware of any way of doing this from a set programming session.

That must be what I need. Any idea on how I can get a copy of this? Thanks for your expertise.

This software Nortel sells. The latest version I am aware of is NRU 9.0 (Norstar Remote Utilities 9.0). There may be others on this forum who can help there.

You will also need a RAD (Remote access Device)to interface between your laptop and the Norstar. This will allow you to connect directly with the Norstar on site with a serial cable or to dial in to the Norstar from a remote site over a phone line.
