Low volume on IP phone

We have a IP2004 phone as a reception phone connected to a BCM200 rel 4.0 with external lines being analog. Our receptionist said she has received some complaints lately from outside callers saying they are having trouble hearing her. I have tested it myself and found the volume to be a bit low. None of the users with digital sets have reported this issue. I tried replacing the handset however that made no difference. Is there a way to boost the outgoing call volume?

No way to boost transmit signal on a handset but they could get a headset with pre-amp(wireless or not) that will have the mic volume.
