At one of our sites with H.323 IP the volume on the MM system is fine from inside but low from the outside. The trunks seem to be fine as you can hear on a phone great. But when you check VM from outside the playback volume is low. I have turned up the playback volume in the VMSC but it did not do anything.

Anyone?

Ken,
If this is still an issue, try to dup the problem using another "application" other than MM that uses H323 trunks and see what you get. Not sure if there would be any other "apps" that you could use in this way.

I have 2 MM systems on the same PBX. One Exchange and one MSS. Both are using H.323 and both have low volume. I have had Avaya look at it and they tell me that it is due to the fact I am using analog trunks and not a T-1 from the C.O.

Does not sound right to me but who knows.

The calls sound fine from a IP or dig phone.

Thanks

Analog trunks as the cause? Sounds like deep sea fishing to me. I will see what I can ponder up and get back to you.
