I've been asked what voltage the Meridian uses for analogue message waiting, and after scouring the NTPs I'm still none the wiser.

The Analogue Card in Question is a NT5K02QC used in the UK.

I believe it uses Low Voltage, but any info on High or Low Voltage Message Waiting would be greatly Appreciated.

-150V DC at 1Hz intervals to provide flashing message waiting light.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Thks, however from what I've read in the the NTP's, fatal I know, It implys -150V is High Voltage and that High Voltage is not supported in Europe? Is this just the NTP's confusing me, not hard to do? Where does low voltage come into it? Anyway I'm probably trying to look into this to deep.

So in the UK a Analogue Telphone connected to a FALC (NTAK02QC) will recieve -150v for Message Waiting Indication.

I was looking at the USA card, so your right it might be lower in the UK. -150V DC is concidered low voltage in the US but 150V AC would be condidered High Voltage
