I have decided to buy a hard drive camcorder, but the new ones in the shops have a low optical zoom compare to the elder models. I was wondering why they have reduced this as this is an important part of a camcorder. I have in mind to buy a Sony camcorder, but havent decided which model yet.
Can anyone explain me why?
