LOV's

I have created one and everything works except when the user selects a value, this values does not get transfer into the new field. the new field. Anyone knows why? did I miss something? by the way, the LOV show labels and i think it sends numbers, the field that is suposed to receive the new value is a number field. I am not getting any error messages, it just does not populate this new field after the selection.

Did you define the column mapping properties of the LOV?

This, I left everything default, the only thing I made sure to change was the Return Item which is the blockname.itemname of the variable that I am expecting to receive the selection from the LOV.
One think I notice is that after I select a value on the LOV the LOV closes and the Focus of the cursos stays on the original list item that trigger the LOV to show.
