LOV question Please

Hello there.

I have an LOV which pops up when triggered from a Key-Next item.

A user would enter a value in the form field and then the LOV would pop up if query returned greater then 1 row.

The problem I have is that if user selects the cancel button on the LOV the fields still proceed to be populated??

Can anyone help in this?
