LOV Button and Cursor Location

Dear ALL,

I have LOV button in a TABLE (GRID) type of data block. user should click the button to get the LOV, it works fine is cursor is also on the same row.

Problem is, when cursor is on other row and user click the LOV button of other row selected (fetched) value returns is cursor row not in BUTTON clicked row.

any hint .. to make clicked (button)row a selected for cursor row.
