Can someone help me out....I have a phone in our breakroom and lobby areas for employees/visitors. I want to be able to limit the time on all calls between 3-5 minutes. The majority of the calls are outbound local calls. Employees ignore posted memos regarding the time limit. Is there a disconnect timer than can be programmed whenever the station goes off hook or a way of setting a vector to play an announcement reminding callers of the time limit?
I have Definity Prologix G3csiV7

Nothing on the phone switch will help you here, however, here is a thought.

Buy a payphone and put it in the lounge. It wont stop the duration of calls, but at least they will pay for their time and give you coffee money to boot!!!!!!

If you have a 6400-series phone set, you can administer a call-timer button on the phone, and then just make sure that it's on. This will display the length of the call to the caller. Won't stop everyone from abusing the system, but will help out somewhat, and will prevent anyone from trying to explaining that they didn't realize how long they had been on the telephone. ;-)
