Loudspeaker Paging 2

I must be missing something very simple. I setup line 806 as my loudspeaker paging in AUX setup and have the paging system installed. How do I initiate a page to the loudspeaker like the 799 paging of the phones?

assign line 806 to the phone. push button then talk.

Press Pickup and dial 806.

Dial #9 and 806.

Add a button (anywhere on the phone, not restricted by line appeareances of where 806 can go) that does #9-806.

What system and release?

The later model Magix systems allow you to assign a PAGING LINE to a PAGING GROUP, including 799.

That issue could be 'cause it's the General Mailbox Owner, a Group Cover Message receiver, or the Message Receiver for a FAX EXTENSION.

Press MENU > MESSAGE and see what that tells you.....

She did a menu>message>delete and the light went out, thanks. She said it's been on for 6 years!

She is the "direct" and only operator, ext 1400. How do I get ext 1419, a phantom, to light at ext 1400?

She should have looked at what the system said the Message came from. Are you sure she is not the GENERAL MAILBOX OWNER?

When you do get her light to come on when 1419 has a mailbox, it will again require her to manually turn it off.

That being said, set up out calling on 1419 and have it out call #53 1400. (That's POUND 53 1400)

She read me the message ,, it came from 770 VM
Does that help? The is no mention of a general mailbox in the script and there is no "0" out feature active.
I down loaded the entire switch and if I have to can load it on a spare system in the LAB.

I would suggest that you log into the general mail box just in case.

What type of Voice Mail is it?
