Loud Static

Hi All,

I am experiencing a very loud static on the phones at a customer site - even on volume 1 it is still too loud.
During an upgrade on the weekend the system went down so this morning I had to complete a fresh install where I loaded it with the new software anyways (rel 7.2 to 8.0).
Since reloading with a backup and confirming all settings have come across, there is a lud static on all external calls.

Mitel have double checked all of our pogramming - ISDN timings, etc.
TPG (service provider) has checked their side and claim to be alright.

Anything else I should be checking? specific hardware?
any help is appreciated.

Confirm your Voice Encoding = Nil in the digital link descriptor form.
 
Hi Guys,

Thanks for the advise, it turned out that the country settings under license options didn't restore with the rest of the system. Was still set to north America instead of Australia.

Changed, reset and restored again and it was all good.
