how can i turn off incoming intercom, i find even with a wall in between us my neighbor's volume is still disturbingly loud
whats my option for ticking off the receptionist the least she doesnt like rejection
private?
do not disturb?
what's the way i will hear the least flack for ignoring the incessant noise?

One simple option is to turn down the volume of the hands-free speaker to a quieter level when not in use. The volume can be turned back up as needed.

JUST SEEMS MY HANDSFREE SPEAKER IS STILL LOUD, SO I AM WONDRIN IF THERE'S A WAY TO BLOCK THE FUNCTION....REASON BEING I CAN STILL HEAR THE PHONES AROUND ME IF THERE IS AN AGENCY WIDE PAGE. SO FAR AS I CAN TELL I HAVE WORN OUT MY >- VOL DOWN BUTTON....ANY OTHER ADVICE?

DND will block every call and page coming to you.
Just to clarify, how are you turning down the speaker?

WHILE THE PHONE SITS UNUSED I TURN SPEAKER BUTTON ON AND PRESS THE VLOUME DOWN BUTTON AS LOW AS POSSIBLE/I ALSO HAVE DONE THIS WITH OUT ENGAGING THE SPKR BUTTON.

The problem may be that all the sound from all the other nearby speakers, when added together, is just too loud.

The first way you stated is correct. (hit speaker then volume).
What if you did that to all the phones around you.

THANKS FOR THE HELP, I WILL TRY WHAT I CAN
APPRECIATE THE INFO BIGTIME
