Ok. This is driving me crazy.
I have an IP Office 406 v2 running 5.0.26 - it has an ATM4 and 4 pots lines connected from Verizon FiOS.
Here is the deal, when I connect my butt set to the FiOS equipment, I can make calls just fine. If I hook that same line to the ATM4, the loud hum/buzz occurs. BUT if I trick it by hooking my buttset up on the line, and while attempting a call and I go off hook on my buttset just in time, the call will proceed with no hum/buzz. It is almost like the FiOS equipment doesn't like the ATM4.
Has anyone else seen this?
I have tried ALL the impedance modes on the Analog options. I have set the telephony to G.711. This is the second IP406v2 and second ATM4 so I know it is not the equipment. EVERYTHING is now grounded to certified ground.
Any ideas?
