Loud Bell off Analog Station

We have hooked up a loud bell on an analog station. It works fine if you call that extension internally but we also need a line appearance on the station so it also rings when that line calls in. Right now it does not ring it on any type incoming call. Any ideas?

You can assign a line to an analog extension the same as a digital/partner phone extension. Make sure you are looking at the system with the admin view (top tool bar- view- hide admin tasks (it is checked by default-remove the check and it will show the admin programming).

Yes the line is assigned to the phone but it doesn't ring the bell, only when we call internally.

And the line is set to ring immediate? It may have set it to no ring.

Is the bell connected to an ETR card, or a Phone card?

Phone 2---Yeah found out that lines do not ring to an analog station, unless the coverage destination is set to that extension.

try a hunt group.I know I was able to accomplish this but can't remember how.

It's only dialtone!!!
