Hi,

I am wondering if it's possible in LotusScript to Run a Java Application? The Java application can be wrapped in a MS-DOS batch file.

How does one run a batch file from LotusScript?

Are there any other ways to run a Java Application from LotusScript (exc. java agents and Notes 8 java plugins)?

Thank you.

Regards,

The formula @command([Execute]) with the proper parameters should be able to launch an application for you - check out Execute in your Designer Help.

To launch that in Script, you will need to use the Execute method - right next to the Execute command in the help.

With those two, you should be able to launch anything from Script. I just hope you don't want to retrieve data from the Java code ;-).

Pascal.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.
