At the moment I created a macro under lotus123. The macro has the task to access to another macro and to activate a button there (in the dialog-field). Former the user activate this button, now the macro should do this. Behind the button there is hidden a function, which runs through some routines.
Actually the problem is, that we have two seperate scripts/ macros(123files) and the one should acess to the other one. There must be activated a button.
Can you help me? Perhaps you have a command to programm my process in the 123lotus macro.

Best regards

Hi Marco,
The first step is to edit the (older) button, by right-clicking, then highlight the code and copy it <Ctrl-C>. Next, go to the (newer) button and paste the code <Ctrl-V>.
If the code refers to any subroutines (those enclosed in the "{}" brackets), you might want to check out the contents of the subroutines - by simply going to those routines, using the <GoTo> key <F-5>. Once at the location of the subroutine(s), you can examine the content and decide whether to copy the entire routine(s), or perhaps only a portion of the routine(s). Hope this helps. ...Dale Watson

Hey people, especially Dale,

Thanks for your answer.
It is a good idea to copy the source code from the (older) button to the new button, but my main- problem is that there are too many important subroutines under the old button. So I have to look for a way to activate the old button in the old macro. My suggestion is to do this by a new macro, which has only the function to activate the old button.
Further the new macro , when it get started, has to activate the button automatically without any manual Activate.
Summary: I click on the "newmacro.123". It opened and startet automatically the button in the old macro.

Can you help me, please.
