Lotus Smartsuite demo problem

I downloaded the demo of Lotus Smartsuite, but when I run any of the apps, I get an out of memory error. I know that I have sufficient resources and memory, as everything else works on my PC, so I presume that it's a problem with the download. Has anyone else suffered this problem?

Check your fonts directory. If you have over (something like 750) registered fonts, Lotus and some other programs will give you an out of memopry messege and wil not load.

Just remove fonts until you can load smartsuite.

The SmartSuite 9.6 demo download does not work. I alerted Lotus about it and they said they would fix or remove it -- nothing has happened.

You can get the demo on a CD from Lotus if you call them, or buy the 9.7 Suite from

http://www.ibm.com

for about $150 as an upgrade.

I downloaded and installed the smaertsuite demo #N9.6.0004.0600 it installed with no headaches.

Maybe they have already fixed the problem. I do know however, that the excessive font problem has existed since R.5

I don't think I have that many fonts, but I'll check. Lotus have removed the download link from the webpage, but you can still get it via ftp.

re. your last post Dan, it installs fine on my PC, but it doesn't run.
