Lotus Notes Teamroom - recover deleted doc

I have a multi-part question related to lotus notes teamrooms:
1. If a document is deleted from a teamroom, is it moved to any type of hidden view or a trash folder, or is it just deleted?
2. Is there any way to recover a doc, or just from a backup?
3. If there is no trash folder, is there a way to edit a teamroom to add this functionality so that any deleted documents would go to a trash folder?
