We have had a problem with the database not being updated with job information that I eventually tracked down to the RNNAME variable being set wrong. Once this was corrected the database became accessible once more. The problem no is that is I try to restore a file from a backup taken when the RNNAME was wrong it fails because basically it looks to Arcserve like I am restoring to a different notes server. This is very frustrating because I can see that the data is all there but I cannot get it back from the tapes. If I set the RNNAME back then the database will be inaccessible again and I won't be able to make my selection from the restore screen.
Has anyone any ideas?

Try restoring based on a query. This will obviously take longer but you will at least be able to restore your file. -----------------------------------------------------
