Hi all. Im using lotus notes R5.0.11 and crystal reports 10. I have a database called 'uk name and address book' and im trying to write a report that looks at this database and prints me a list of members of mailing groups within this database...however im really struggling. I get fields with the name $1, $2 etc... however I cant find a field name 'group name' and 'members'. Is this database something that ships with Lotus Notes or have our IT people written this speciffically for us and cocked it up! Thanks for the help! D.

The Name & Address book is an integral part of Notes, so its design should be standard. As for knowing if there have been any modifications, I think your IT people would be the best ones to ask :).

As to your problems, it may be that you are struggling because you are using the wrong field names. First of all, Notes does not allow spaces in field names, therefor "group name" cannot be the name of a field.

Second, if the NAB has not been changed, then the field that gives the name of a group is called "listname", and the people in a group are specified in a field named "members".

This information is easily found by using the Developer client and opening the NAB template in design mode. Your struggles would be simplified if you could get the design client installed, or have a developer give you the information you need.

Pascal.
