Hi,
This may not be exactly the right forum to use - but I thought I'd try things from a different angle.
I have a query re: Lotus Notes "hot spots" and I would be grateful for any advice that you might have on this subject.
Lotus Notes is the email system in use in our company and what I'm hoping to do is write a program in VB that will be able to send emails to specific users of lotus notes - this is OK I can do that and that part is OK - the next bit might not be so easy - what I want to do is include a "hot spot" that will refer to an executable, say Notepad - I'm wondering if this is possible?
Somebody showed me how to set up a hotspot and a command button but of course this was done through the application what I'm wondering is are there any special codes/scripts that I could pass in from an external source that would be the equivalent of setting up the hot spot directly through the app.
Thanks a million,
Tom
