Does anyone know of an issue with Lotus Notes 5.0.10 correctly picking up the default printer in Windows 2000 Terminal Services?
When our users login, a piece of script adds their printers and, depending on group membership, maps one as the default printer (ie users in IT have IT mapped as default printer. When you first log on, if you go into Microsoft Word XP (or any other Microsoft Office XP prog) the default printer is picked up fine. However, when you log into Notes, it picks up the correct printer name (IT) but instead of being IT on prtsrv, it picks it up as IT on Lexmark Optra 1855 (which is the driver for this printer). If you log into Terminal Services, wait 20 seconds and then start Lotus Notes, it picks up the default printer fine (IT on prtsrv), any earlier and it picks it up incorrectly (as shown above).
Has anyone had this problem?
Thanks
James
