Lotus Notes Not Responding when Closing

One of my users is having problems closing Lotus Notes client properly. When she wants to close it, it just hangs and the "not responding" error message will prompt. She has to End Task to shut it down. The Lotus Notes Client is version 7.0.2.

I had deleted both the Cache.ndk and Desktop6.ndk as suggested in 1 of the postings, but the problem still persist.

Does anyone has a permanent solution for this, please?

Are you using an anti-virus package such as McAfee? We had this problem too and had to remove the following lines from the notes.ini file:

AddinMenus=NCMenu
EXTMGR_ADDINS=NCExtMgr

IBM Helpdesk suggested to delete the bookmark.nsf. I followed and so far, my user had no problems shutting the client. I would take ur suggested solution if the problem recurrs again.

That was going to be my next suggestion. Glad things seem to be working ok now.
