I know I am missing something very basic. I installed Lotus Notes 6.5.5 at home on my PC running Windows XP (mainly because I use it at work). It was a no-brainer and I and sent and received mail. It worked fine and I was very pleased with myself!!!. I should mention that I am connecting to my email account via a DSL modem. I can still send mail but NOW for some reason I can't receive mail. I get Replication error. The server is not responding. The server may be down .. bla.. bla... bla... I have spent days on Google looking for a fix and read everything I can find on Lotus Notes 6.5. I reconfigured the setup with every scenario I could find. Can someone help me please?

Your issue could be that your home computer is unable to resolve your home server's DNS name. Trying creating a connection document in your personal address book to the server using its IP address. You should at least be able to ping your home server's IP from your home computer in order to make a connection. If not, then you may need VPN or something else to get you into the network. You should also verify that your location document has all the correct settings: correct mail server name, tcp/ip set, etc.
