Lotus Notes gives an error when trying to open a pdf

Hello! I'm using notes ver. 6.5. My troubles, when I recieve an email with a pdf attachment I'm unable to open it. I've uninstalled adobe reader and reinstalled, but I still have the same problem.

I get the attachment pop-up window and when I go to view, i get an error, no program is associated. When I save the attachment I'm able to open it using reader.
