Lotus Notes Email Size and Mailbox Size - How to Limit it?

Hello All,

Please advise on how I can limit email size and/or email attachment size on a Lotus Notes Domino Server. WinNT/Domino4.62.

Also, how do I limit mailbox sizes.

I'm not too sure how to do it on release 4.6.2 as I currently use R.5.

Basically, you have to go to Administrator, Select People and Servers from the main pane, select the server the person is on, find the person, right click, select Quota - Set Quota. This will set their mail file quota.

To do this for emails, you do it a similar way, go into Configuration from the pane - select your server - Choose Messaging - Configuration - there should be an option for SIZE - if enabled it will limit the size of an email to what you state.
