HELLO EVERYONE,
IM NEW TO THE FORUM AND WORKING HARD TO SOLVE A CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM BETWEEN LOTUS DOMINO R5 AND EXCHANGE2000
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE ?
FYI: WINDOWS2000/SP2 SERVER1 WITH EXCHANGE2K+ CONNECTOR FOR LOTUS NOTES
SERVER2: WINDOWS2000/SP2 WITH LOTUS R5+ LOTUS ADM+LOTUS NOTES CLIENT
A CONNECTOR ID WAS DECLARED/REGISTERED WITH MAIL SYSTEM=NONE, WITH ACL=DEPOSITOR ACCESS ON THE DOMINO SERVER. ROUTER MAILBOX (MAIL.BOX) FOR CONNECTOR ACCESS WAS CREATED, CONNECTOR DATABASE (EXCHANGE.BOX) WAS CREATED WITH TEMPLATE SERVER (MAIL ROUTER R5).
EXCHANGE SERVER WAS REGISTERED AS A FOREIGN DOMAIN.
DIRECTORY ACCESS WAS GRANTED TO LOTUS NOTES CONNECTOR WITH DELETE DOCUMENTS ACCESS
CONNECTOR ID WAS ADDED TO THE LIST OF ADMINISTRATORS IN THE SERVER DOCUMENT
NOTE THAT FOR TESTING PURPOSES I WAS NOT ABLE TO TEST THE CONNECTOR ID BY LOGGING ON THE CLIENT NOTES USING SWITCH ID; I HAD AN ERROR MESSAGE:" ILLEGAL USE OF A CERTIFIER FILE"
MESSAGES ROUTED TO THE EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATOR ALIAS WERE FOUND IN THE EXCHANGE.BOX DATABASE
THANKS FOR GIVING A HAND
VINCENT
