Need help setting up our Notes and Voice Mail system to work together. We currently use an Avaya Intuity Audix Voice Mail system that is internet ready. Currently we use a software product called Message Manager to log into our voice mailboxes, software is a GUI interface that allows us to perform functions such as fax, voice, and text messaging through our voice mail. This same software can be integrated with Notes but we are having difficulty setting it up. When I log into message manager I can sent an email from my mailbox to a notes mailbox and it work just fine. However, when I try and address a message in Notes to a mailbox in voice mail it does not get delivered. I also left a message in the Definity forum but have had no replies. We are looking for an integrated solution and prefer to use notes for everything.

did you look into the products / services of ?

they've got quite a bit of experience in integrating notes with phone systems (CTI)

We are doing an install for a client that seems to be a similar configuration. We upgraded the Definity to R11 and have installed the Intuity with fax administrator.

avgindyguy - did you get your situation resolved? We might have the same type of problem and I'd like to know what you did.

Still not working correctly however we can send just about anything we want from Message Manager to Notes just fine. In our case we address the message in message manager as bart.simpson@domain.com@internet the @internet tells the voice mail system that the email needs to be sent outside, Avaya recommends that name so we stuck with. Also, faxing and all other options work fine now. The problem with notes is that the notes server needs to be setup to poll the voice mail system and check for new messages. This piece we have yet to get to work and at this point we will probably be pursuing Unified Messenger from Avaya, this software allows for a total integration package with notes.
