I HAVE WRITTEN A PROGRAM IN LOTUS MIL AND WANT TO IMPORT IT INTO ACCESS. ACCESS ALLOWS ONE TO CONVERT THE DATABASE INTO A RUNNING PROGRAM. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THIS IN LOTUS, AND ACCORDING TO LOTUS SUPPORT THEY DO NOT OFFER SUCH FEATURES. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU KNOW OTHERWISE.

I NEED ASSISTANCE IN OPENING THE FILES IN ACCESS WITH ALL THE FORMS, LINKS, ETC. MY EXPERIENCE IS IN LOTUS NOT ACCESS. I AM MAKING THE CONVERSION BECAUSE OF THE ABILITY TO CREATE A PROGRAM

THANKS

There is no way to convert your "program" of forms and reports into an Access program. You can open the databases and use the data but you will need to redo your "program" from scratch. And to do anything significant in Access, you will need to have very good programming skills! It is not as easy to use as Approach.

Now, you say you want to "CREATE A PROGRAM" - Approach does not have that option to create a program that runs without having Approach installed. But that is not a huge problem. I sell order entry systems written in Approach and sell the Lotus Approach software along with them - I sell it as an advantage!
