Lotus->Blackberry->Outlook HELP

Any help/advice appreciated...

New user has started with their own Blackberry. Blackberry is full of data that was created/synced via Lotus Notes.
However we are running Outlook 2000 and user wants to sync their data on the Blackberry to Outlook.

Have not done this before and am worried about loosing/curropting data.

Obviosuly I will do a backup first but anyone here have any experience with this or ideas the best way to do it ?

Our procedure for transferring a unit to another user should apply...

- Use the handheld to let Desktop Manager detect the connection
- Erase the handheld by entering the incorrect password ten times
- Use Application Loader to erase all apps and data, load desired apps
- Load desired user data through Intellisynch
