Hi all,
This might not exactly fit into this category, but I will try it anyway.
We are using Windows Messaging on a Windows 2000 workstation to act as a MAPI interface between Lotus Notes (version 5.08) and the third party vendor software.
In Notes there is the setting that says 'Don't prompt for a password from other Notes-based programs', which should in effect mean any opening of Windows Messaging will happen without a password prompt - however, on a random basis, Messaging will prompt for a password, which causes a major problem when this program generates automatic emails through batch jobs.
I realise this is a bit vague, but have always had problems with the reliability of the setting mentioned above, any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Steven Paice
