I have a small company, database that I want to move the files that we do not use to a read only database. (so no one can copy unless password is given) and then keep 1 or 2 years worth of files as well as current files.

How would I go about doing this?

Thanks!

Karen

Ok, I would use Approach's SaveAs option to save the APR file and databases to another location on your hard drive. You can then set that copy up to be "read-only" by using Team Security to assign a password for update and other passwords for read-only.

Afterward, you could open the original APR and delete old data from your databases.
