Lotus 123 R5 spreadsheets opening improperly in Smartsuite 9.8

I have a new PC with XP Professional and Smartsuite 9.8, when opening my R5 spreadsheets the entire sheet is displayed as numbers (some of the columns are very large). Anyone else run across this?
