Lotes notes does not open

Hi,

Please help me with this.I cannot open my lotus notes client. Every time I try to open it it just shows up and then dissappears. I had opened an archive file by directly clicking on it earlierbcos my server was down.Is there any way to fix without reinstalling.

The only time I've seen this happen was when the lines in the Notes.INI file that contain file paths were incorrect.

Lines like:

Directory=d:\Lotus\Notes\Data
WinNTIconPath=d:\Lotus\Notes\Data\W32

Have a look at these lines and makw sure they are correct.

I use zappnotes when my notes client crashes and wont start up.

when notes crashes, several processes are still running. it will not restart util they have been terminated. you can download notes medic pro from

http://www.cassetica.com

99% of the time it works really well. sometimes notes is so hosed you'll need to reboot.
