I have a small issue-- I have a sparcstation 20 running sunOS 5.5.1. It's previous owner is unknown, and we were hoping to use it with redhat 6.2 for sparc.
Problem starts on boot- after rpc services start, it tries a ypbind, then loops on:
Waiting for ypbind to bind.
.le0: no carrier - cable disconnected or hub link test disabled? (<--This repeats on infinitum)
I know it's trying to get to a network resource but this used to be in a closed lab that is now gone. Is there a way to force it to boot to CD so that I can isntall the RedHat and just scrap the SunOS??
Any thoughts??
