Lost path in Norstar CCR Tree

We have a Norstar system with Startalk. When the CCR tree was built, the programmer did not note where path 8 in the tree goes to. It is an information mailbox with company info only. I have tried changing path 8 in the tree and also erasing path 8, but to no avail - still get the old info. Is there a way to trace a path?
