lost password mcd 6.

please help, we recently upgrade mxe 3300 controller to mcd 6.o. we had to change the default password while doing the upgrade, we have lost the new password. does any one know of a way to recover it?

Should be able to reset via RS232 terminal connection with the correct commands

If you want to reset 'system' password connect to RS232 port at the front of the system. 9600-N-8-1
Hit enter a few times to get -> prompt.
type [pre]ResetLoginPassword "system"[/pre]
This will reset the user 'system' password to 'password'
