I uninstalled and re-installed Windows SP2 update to see if it would solve another problem. When I restarted the computer after the re-install the XP progress bar stays on the screen and thats it, no boot.

I am now trying to recover the data off the drive by connecting it to another PC and just dragging the data off. However, in my computer only one drive is listed for it (there were at least 2 partitions) and it says that even the listed one is "not formatted."

Windows disk management sees the drive as 31.5gb. I have tried the "Partition Table Doctor 3.0" but it sees the drive as 32gb (it is actually a 160gb samsung).

Any idea how I can recover the partitions to get the data off?

Thanks

Sorry guys I had set the jumper to 32gb slave not normal slave. Changed the jumper and everything works.

Thanks
