Greetings,
We're running Crystal 8.5 using the simple RDC web based (.asp) interface to view reports. Since Crystal 8.5, we've successfully used the "CR Oracle8 v3.6" ODBC driver to fetch the report data from our Oracle 8 DB.
We've recently lost the ability to multi-thread reports. By this I mean...
If user #1 selects to run a report that takes 5 minutes to execute, and then user #2 runs a report that takes 10 seconds to execute, user #2 ends up waiting until user #1's report has completed.
This was all working fine before...multi threaded and happy. I've tried the Oracle native ODBC driver among many others with no progress.
Oddly, I can bring up the actual report designer application on the same machine and I can run obscene amounts of reports concurrently.
Any ideas??? I feel like I've tried just about everthing....twice.
Many Thanks!
Deane
