Lost Mid and Cdate Functions

Aperently i have somehow deleted the project refrence that allowed me to invoke Mid, Cdate, Left and other standard functions. Any idea how to resolve this? Loosing my mind a bit here and any help would be appreciated

Start a new standard project and goto project>references of both and compare.
