IS-IT--Management
Hi,
My Exchange server is setup with a "Connector for POP3 mailboxes". This simply means that my ISP still hosts my mail but I am using Exchange to connect and download from user mailboxes at my ISP end.
I am having issues with lost e-mail messages and am wondering if it has anything to do with my setup. Basically, I am having issues like:
- I would send a message from an external address such as hotmail and nothing will be received from the Exchange user. Nor, will there be a bounced back message to the hotmail account.
- Another weird issue was that an external user sent an e-mail message to user1@exchnageserver.com and CC another exchange user user2@exchangeserver.com, and the message was delivered to one of the exchange users but not the other one. Also, no bounce back message was sent back to the sender.
I have been trying to figure out this for a week now and am unable to resolve it or make any sense of it. Please help if you can.
Thanks in advance.
