By mistake, while installing bash, I overwrote /usr/5bin/man (the executable), with a directory called man. Now I have no man command. How can I recover?
What system are you using? (linux/hpux/aix) Mike

Email welcome if you're in a hurry or something -- but post in tek-tips as well please, and I will post my reply here as well.
No. I actually reinstalled. It was a pretty fresh build anyways. I am using it as a learning tool. Its on a crap HP celeron 300. I am learning extremely quick though. I grasp the understanding of the different ways of installing software on Solaris. As time goes on, hopefully I will grasp the full understanding of unix administration. I will say this though, the more I understand it, the more I love Unix.
Glad you're sorted Mike
