During a routine backup of my c: drive to my d: drive something we wrong and I lost the spell check directory for lotus notes. I have searched in both c: and d: drives but can't find it.
How do I find the spell check .dic file? How do I get it back in lotus notes so my Spell check will function?

I suggest you make a copy of your Notes.ini, then reinstall the Notes client.

Once the reinstall is finished, just copy the Notes.ini to your program folder and Notes should start up as usual.

Alternatively, you should be able to just copy the *.dic files from a collegue's Notes Data directory to your own. There is no subfolder for these files, they go straight into the Data directory.

Pascal.
