Lost Linked Server how to Stop replication and Restart

I have 3 sites.

1 publishing linked server, 2 receiving.

When there is maintenance on the leased line link and they are down for more than 10 mins replication fail and I have to reboot.

Once, sometimes twice I have reboot the server because of this.

Is there another way, or can I detect the link stop replication, try to detect when the link is up again and then start replication again.

Any help would be much appreciated.
