I recently installed WP12 using Windows XP, SP2. The drop-down menus don't contain the options that should be there. For example, under the File menu, there is no option for Line, so I couldn't change the spacing until I added a button the Toolbar. I've reinstalled the program twice. I've also checked to make sure I'm not in Word mode. I'd sure appreciate any help or ideas. Thanks.

I've never seen a line format option under the File menu. It is under the Format menu.
What menu are you using? Right click the menu and click Settings or select one. From Settings, you can edit and make it how you want. It is best to copy a menu from Settings and then edit it.
As a last resort:
To restore defaults, rename the wp12us.wpt and then open wp. There may be several versions. In wp click Tools, Settings, Files to find the path to your template file if needed. When wp starts after renaming the file, it creates a new one with all the standard setups.
