Ok here is my problem,

I am running an FTP server with 19 200 GB drives connected to 2 LVM arrays. 3 of the drives (hda, hdc and hdd) are connected to the IDE controllers on the MB (AOPEN AX4GE) and the rest are utilizing SIIG Ultra133 IDE controllers (hde-hdt).

I have had problems with this server since it was built and recently replaced the MB hoping to solve the problem (this server sees alot of activity).

I am running Redhat 9.0 Kernel 2.4.20-8 and I am seeing the following error messages that causes the server to lock up:

Jan 13 01:52:03 kernel: hdd: drive not ready for command
Jan 13 01:52:06 kernel: ide1: reset: success
Jan 13 02:12:00 kernel: hdd: lost interrupt
Jan 13 02:17:44 kernel: hdd: lost interrupt
Jan 13 02:18:54 last message repeated 7 times
Jan 13 02:20:04 last message repeated 7 times
Jan 13 02:21:14 last message repeated 7 times
Jan 13 02:22:24 last message repeated 7 times

The last message repeated 7 times line goes on until lockup. Can anyone offer any advice as I am at a loss?

Thanks,

D
