I have a new HP computer running XP Home (SP1 installed)with a Cisco 350 wireless network card. My problem is that everytime the computer goes into standby, when I wake it, the IP address is lost and I cannot connect to the internet. I can't release and renew to get it back. The only way is to re-boot the computer. Any ideas???

You may be out of luck. This behavior is fairly typical of wireless PCMCIA adapters.

You might check the Cisco Knowledge base for clues.

This is not a PCMCIA card. It is a PCI card with the 350 installed on it.
